Title ; Hard worker
The subject of this piece is a painter who works day and night at a downtown construction site.
He is a "migrant worker" who has traveled to Japan from overseas.
Without people like him, the city in which I live in could not continue to function.
He symbolizes a modern era in which we all support the livelihood of one another.

Title : Wall
This is the part of a building wall illuminated by a setting sun. The gradation of the reflected light is beautiful and the linear composition provides a moderate tension.
This feeling seems to be covering the entire wall of the building.
I hope people will experience the dynamism of feeling the part of the wall spreading over the entire building.

Title : Gold
The more the patterns along the edges of the small white plates were faded, the stronger presence they had. On top of that, the chipped edges were repaired with gold lacquer, and the golden gleam left an impression on me.
At that moment, I superimposed my own age onto them, and in these plates repaired with gold lacquer I discovered that being beautiful and enduring despite old age is the form things ought to take. And I resolved that to me, this surely is the very way of life people should lead.

Home to popular fashion streets, Tokyo's Harajuku has plenty of back streets and unique boutiques.
I found these scars on the black walls of a store. Something was probably struck against them.
They were left as is and it felt like art for me.
It made me feel like that's the kind of place Harajuku is.

There's a bar on the outskirts of the shopping district with little customer traffic. When late night rolls around, the inside becomes alive with drinkers. An unknown world lies in there.
On the other side of that door, customers are out of the closet and liberated.

A wintry holiday afternoon, on the east-way crossing of the intersection at the 4th city block of Ginza. People are enjoying a relaxing afternoon without the rush of cars.
Being able to walk in the middle of the main street, feeling really good, seeing the happiness of people being out in the open, it's fantastic to feel free.
The way Ginza is right now makes me want to stop time and enjoy this moment forever.
A swinging paper bag seems to be dancing with the wind that blows through it.

The surface of the giant sphere located in the garden also serves as a mirror.
The whole of the surrounding scenery is reflected on the sphere's surface.
In the hole opened on the sphere you can observe an optical illusion whereby the reflections of the scenery appear to be being sucked inside in a swirl.

He strives to be feminine, and in fact expresses himself by dressing like a woman.
The pure feeling that exists in his heart is accepted by modern society.
For him, being able to exist as a Cosplayer is a symbol of freedom.

People's thoughts, beliefs, and actions are diversifying and being shared.
The time is coming when the balance of power will collapse.
After the devastation, the regeneration will come back again.
Is this now or later...

It was two years ago, when I first met ‘K’, a ballet dancer. Her dance was very energetic.
She kept dancing in the park from morning till evening. She danced even in the drizzling rain.
While the music played through headphones, she danced.
It was as if her feelings exploded from the bottom of her heart.

It is a sight of a cafe at the entrance of the park on a winter morning. The cafe owner prepares a cold blanket on each chair.
Every thing has its own unique expression on the surface. They are expressed in terms of texture. We tend to overlook in our daily lives, and we need to sharpen our senses.

Bicycle parking is prohibited around the station because of road safety.
Patrol staff attaches a warning ticket whenever they spot an illegally parked bicycle.
This bicycle has many mounting rings of the warning tickets still attached.
I stop and wonder what kind of person used to own this bicycle.

It was as if small yellow leaves illuminated by the setting sun in the winter had gained a golden radiance.
That was at a gloomy thicket inside a park where the Sun does not shine during the day.
This is the afterglow from a brief period of time only at this moment when the setting sun comes through the gaps in the tree trunks.
I cannot forget the Sun's magnificence I felt at this moment at this place.

The streets of Ginza in Tokyo are lined with luxury brand shops, and it is a place bustling with rich shoppers. The buildings are new structures, and the characteristics of each shop are spilling over, so when I stand there, I feel like I'm cut off from the ordinary world. The traffic sign has a beautiful color from the red paint used to repair it several times, and the paint feels similar to how my skin feels. The unique striped pattern on the trunks of slender persimmon trees is so beautiful, and there are things that look like new sprouts, giving it a slight feeling of vitality. Surrounded by inorganic matter, I felt at ease.

Title: Value No.2 & No.3
The value of perception
No one doubts what they see before their eyes.
But how they accept it depends on their state of mind.
Therefore, you should see fantastic things among the objects that spread within your view.
In that, beauty, ugliness, revulsion, and adoration are mixed together.

Ginza in Tokyo is the largest shopping district in Japan.
On the main street, there are shops with fashion brands that represent the world.
On the other hand, there are local shops on the back street, which are small but unique.
I found an attractive entrance door when I strolled around such a street.
I was curious and wanted to knock that door.

January 16 - February 8, 2020, at ph21 Gallery Project Room ;
After the Second World War, streets burned to the ground by air raids were rebuilt, and now the capital city of Tokyo is densely packed with buildings both big and small. In the skyline, we can see the scale and complexity of this.
As people live their lives in this space, individual happiness, suffering, and hope all melt into the scenery. I have attempted to project this onto the skyline.
This strained and distorted visage conveys an atmosphere of anxiety and intimidation that expands one’s worldview as if from another dimension. This previously unfelt sensation creates an aesthetic space and confers an illusion of safety.
I cannot help but feel awe at such scenery, which we typically overlook.

Japanese men tend not to grow beards.
For that reason, most men have a generally neat appearance.
On the other hand, men around the world prefer to grow out their beards - truly a symbol of manhood.
Differences in looks are cultural as well.
Perhaps no feature of a woman displays her sensuality more than her lips.
Their power to express, full of voluptuous personality, deepen a woman's allure and charm.
Plenty of men have suffered everywhere, fighting over the right to taste such lips.
This is the principle - granted to us - that guides one to the essence of love.

On their way home from elementary school, two boys who got along well started playing baseball at the open space of a park where there was no one. Normal teams have nine people each. however, he takes on the roles of everyone in the team by himself. The open space became a splendid baseball stadium.
In the early afternoon of a summer's day, there is not much pedestrian traffic on a street lined with ginkgo trees. A single lady walks swiftly past the promenade. I felt as if I was watching a scene from a movie there.

In winter in Tokyo, there are only a few snow days a year.
Even if it snows, it's only about 10 centimeters.
A little snowfall in a city can stall traffic functions.
At that time, when the snow started to fall, the park was deserted.
It goes silent.

This Bar is a chock in a car park of a building.
Moreover, it is being illuminated by light shining on a dim corner.
When I look at this chock's surroundings while gazing at it, I feel a change in the balance of light and shadow.
I am looking at some rubble that is artlessly piled up in a corner of a construction site in an urban area.
All of the fragments there have fulfilled their duties.
I feel that together, they are an aggregate that possesses a mysterious beauty.
While I was through a narrow back alley that was a slope, I realized that there was a single chair on the side of the road.
Even though I tried to sit on that chair, because of the incline, I slid off and was unable to sit on it.

When people meet for the first time, they instinctively look first at their eyes.
In an instant, one can imagine the humanity hidden behind those eyes.
At that moment, a conversation begins with the eyes, and sometimes no words are needed.
